Seidel Plays Unbelievable Hand at WSOP

by Staff

With 21 players remaining in Event #16 of the 2024 World Series of Poker, Erik Seidel was all in and at risk against former poker dealer Sami Bechahed. Seidel was in great shape, holding a higher flush than Bechahed, but then disaster struck for the Poker Hall of Famer on the river:

Just like that, he was eliminated in 21st place. He earned $26,007 for his efforts. Bechahed was unable to parlay the one-outer into a final table run, bowing out in 15th place for $32,059.

Seidel is no stranger to deep runs in the desert. The 10-time bracelet winner has banked nearly $9.5 million in WSOP events, and more than $46 million worldwide.

Not too worry for the Poker Hall of Famer — there’s nearly 100 more online and live events at the WSOP.
