Mystery Millionaires Crowned at WSOP

by Staff
DJ Buckley

On Monday, two millionaires were crowned at the World Series of Poker in the $1,000 buy-in Mystery Millions event. The first to pull a seven-figure bounty in the 18,000-player event was Valentyn Shabelnyk. Shabelnyk caught some flack for not showing much emotion and then running back to his seat:

The second instant millionaire was DJ Buckley, a regular on the Mid-States Poker Tour. Buckley was a little more excited about his newfound riches:

There is still one more millionaire to be made — the winner of the tournament. The Mystery Millions resumes on Tuesday with 18 players remaining, including two bracelet winners: Pei Li and Alex Ziskin. The winner of the tournament will pocket an even $1 million, while each member of the final table is guaranteed $89,411.

The final table will be streamed in its entirety on PokerGO.
